Not only is it dangerous to drive after consuming alcohol, but doing so exposes you to criminal prosecution.  Being legally impaired is not the same as being drunk.  Legal impairment is a technical term that refers to either a blood alcohol content above a certain level or the noticeable impairment of a person’s mental or physical faculties.

Many people are charged and convicted of DWI in cases where they never suspected that they had drunk too much to legally drive.
